Luke T. Davis
A captain in the United States Air Force, Luke is currently pursuing graduate studies at the International Space University in Strasbourg, France. His academic and professional career has been, and continues to be storied – and begins at the ripe old age of 13, when he joined the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) – an auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force. Following his years as a CAP cadet, he studied at the University of New Mexico, obtaining a Bachelors degree in international Management, and from there, he commissioned with the U.S. Air Force, where he became a “Certified Space Professional.” He began, in 2005, to work with the X-Prize Foundation, becoming immersed in learning about the challenges of space commercialization. It was his mentor at the X-Prize foundation who encouraged Luke to pursue his Masters degree at the International Space University.
Luke received the SSPI International Scholarship in 2007.
