Claudia Vaccarone

Claudia is an inclusion practitioner and a marketing strategy and communications executive with over 20 years of international experience in media, broadcasting, communication, diversity and gender equality. She advises organizations worldwide on how to embed the gender and diversity dimensions in their corporate strategies.

In 2021 she joined Netflix to support the shaping of the EMEA Inclusion strategy on both talent and production. Previously she was recruited by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) in Geneva, Switzerland as Head of Diversity Programmes for Members, where she led thought leadership programs and communications campaigns to stimulate public service media companies to launch gender equality strategies and build inclusive cultures. She authored the "All Things Being Equal" guidelines report and launched the #PSM4Equality campaign.

For over a decade she was Director of Global Market Research and Customer Experience at Eutelsat, the Paris-based global satellite operator, where she carried industry leading research on TV distribution, new standards (4K/UHD) and customer satisfaction. She was also responsible for the research dissemination campaigns with institutional stakeholders, the media and customers worldwide. She co-founded the first satellite industry women network EutEllesSat and spoke at industry events about the experiences of women in technology.
