Robert D. Scheige
In his five years with Willis, Robert Scheige has brought a fresh perspective and initiative that has served the company’s clients well. His quick grasp of the industry’s complexities helped him successfully identify areas of risk, bring opposing issues to common ground, and introduce new concepts to the insurance community in support of his clients, including Space Systems/Loral. The "consummate broker,” Rob is acknowledged for his ability to listen, assess the situation and reach a confident conclusion. He was instrumental in developing proposals for pitching new accounts, value-add proposals for new management at an existing client, and developing innovative strategies for client placements. In addition, his dedication to the industry is exemplified by the professional development courses he pursues. Rob is a recognized ITAR regulation and management expert and will be presenting at the American Conference Institute’s 2nd National Forum on Satellite & Space Export Controls in October 2009.
